The Seaside Institute has teamed up with Walton County, ITIC (International Transportation Innovation Center) and numerous electric vehicle companies on the 30A Mobility Project.
At our Seaside Prize Weekend, we will be doing a demonstration of the 30A Transit System, where we will demonstrate our vision and solutions to the 30A congestion, traffic, parking, and safety issues.
We will have several "Ride Shacks" at various locations along 30A. Electric vehicles, carts and bikes will be available for individuals to view and test drive. We need several "Ride Shack Ambassadors" to work the ride shacks and to act as a spokesperson for the Institute and its mission.
There will be a brief training session prior to this event. Volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to a Seaside Prize Weekend event.
You must be 21 years or older, with a valid drivers license to volunteer for this position. You will need to be available from 8am - 5pm on Saturday, February 25, 2017.
