Founded in 1972 as a highly successful, national Head Start demonstration project, Home Start provides services to children living in poverty who require immediate, comprehensive solutions to ensure their safety and healthy development. In 1977, Home Start incorporated as a San Diego-based, private non-profit agency dedicated to child abuse prevention and family strengthening services.

Home Start’s biggest fundraiser that will be hosted at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa will need help with logistics the day of in order to make this night a success! Volunteers are needed for set up at noon until 4pm. They will help with Silent Auction set-up, set up the tables in Ballroom (including decoration), and help to set up check-in area. The event starts at 5:30pm and goes until 11pm. We will have 2 different shifts: first shift will be set-up and second shift will be during the event. Second shift will include: Greeters, Check-in table assistance, silent auction monitors, raffle ticket sellers, photography booth assistance, check-out, clean up, and more.
