A+ Student
Attwood wants every student to succeed!

With Operation Homework you would assist fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students with Math homework and Math-related games during their breakfast time.

Attwood School is a part of the Lansing Public School District. We are a priority, Title I school in south Lansing. ( http://www.lansingschools.net/schools/middle-years/attwood-elementary/)

Operation Homework is a program that takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 8am-9am. From 9am-10am your role would be to accompany your Operation Homework students into their classrooms to assist them in learning.

  • Monday working with 4th graders
  • Tuesday working with 5th graders
  • Wednesday LATE START (No Operation Homework today)
  • Thursday working with 6th graders
  • Friday working with students who need additional Math help (all grades)
Accepting this volunteer position would mean that you would attend at least one day a week for two hours until the end of April 2017. You will need to complete an online orientation from Communities in Schools and pass a background check before you are allowed to begin working.
