About

Cardboard Camp Out- On any given night, there are over 2,000 people experiencing homelessness in Mecklenburg County. The Power of Girls Cardboard Campout will help girls understand the causes of homelessness and the experiences someone facing homelessness may face. Activities will include hearing from individuals who have experienced homelessness, group discussions, and participating in a service project to help our neighbors. Girls who participate in this program will be challenged to Take Action in their own community to end homelessness.
