Hope Xchange is dedicated to preventing suicide and improving mental health outcomes in our most vulnerable and high-risk populations: our youth, LGBTQIA and bipolar communities.
We accomplish our mission by developing innovative, early intervention programs to reach those who are struggling with a mental illness wherever and whenever they need us most, connecting in a nonjudgmental way with understanding and compassion.
Our advocates at Hope Xchange work to protect the rights of our clients by stopping discrimination and abuse, and enforcing human treatment. our advocates improve services of our clients to better meet their individual needs. Our advocates are also building a mental health database.
Our free program has been expanded in order to help more who are struggling with any mental illness and who are not in a position to advocate for themselves in what is becoming an increasingly uncaring world full of roadblocks and red tape and to those who are in desperate need of the care we all deserve.
You will always have support from the Coordinator and others at Hope Xchange. You don't have to understand the ins-and-outs of the system. You do, however, need:
- To be AT LEAST 20 years old
- Patience
- Listening skills
- Empathy
- Access to internet and phone service
- Research skills
- Data entry skills
- Communication skills
- Assertiveness
- Honesty and trustworthiness
Sign up to be a mental health advocate below. Join the Hope Xchange family in improving lives all around the world. Show that you have a heart of gold.
