The Event Coordinator primary goal of this position is to fully execute the coordination of all performances, festivals, tradeshows, and events as defined below.This voluneeter position has the potential to turn into a paid position within the organization.
Duties to include:
- The Coordinator of Special Events is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting all special events
- Responsible for all events and vending related activities:
- Execute contracts with events.
- Manage events calendar
- Plan all event staffing, logistics, and organization
- Attend and operate events to ensure they run smoothly
- Produce reports for all events including analytics and goal summaries
- Work closely with the internal teams to plan all future events
- Communicate with event partners and outreach to new events
- Ensure our attendance at events is secured for the following year
- This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining event budgets, securing corporate sponsors, identifying new prospects, and recruiting and managing event committee volunteers
- Qualifications:
- Great communication skills
- Success Factors: Ability to work independently and as a self-starter in a team environment;
- Ability to organize, attention to detail; and follow-up with job responsibilities.
- Qualifications
- Experience and or a desire to plan and execute event
- Efficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Database software

Artists Rock The M-I-C's Foundation mission is to bring artists together from all genres of music and forms of art to impact change in communities across the world. Our primary goal is to bring attention to, and assist the college homeless students.

Artists Rock The M-I-C ( Motivating Individuals in the Communities) Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 The purpose of the organization is to leverage established and creditable talents from the entertainment industry and offer benefit concerts to the public to drive a primary goal of giving back to disparaged members of the community, particularly the college homeless students.
Artists Rock The M-I-C Foundation has established itself as an organization that participates in a variety of different activities to give back to those in need including; 5K charitable races, and collecting 2000 Water Bottles cases for Flint MI, We have partnered with: "I Honor Your Service to America" collecting toiletry items for the VETS, "I Will Survive Inc.," collecting scarves, gas cards and books for current Cancer patients, "Refining Fire Atlanta Inc." collecting school supplies for Foster Care Kids. To date we have served over 6000 people in need and counting, donating time and talents to mentor and perform for audiences that otherwise would not have access to the platform, and supporting the efforts of other organizations in the Metro-Atlanta area and abroad. Our benefit concerts have featured Tony Terry (National Recording Artists), Ken Ford (Violinist), Beth Spangler (The Voice), Ryan Kilgore (Stevie Wonder Saxophone Player), Xavier Lewis (From America's Got Talent) The Black Betty's (T'Pain and Chante Moore Background Vocalist).
