Lantern Community Services is looking for professional photographers to donate 2 - 4 hours of their time in late April or early May to take family portraits of our family tenants in the Bronx, for our Father's Day/Parents Appreciation Day celebrations. Our families loved the photographs they got last year, and we're looking for a few new faces to join in.
Our clients are formerly homeless and living on very low incomes, and would never be able to afford to have a quality photograph taken as a family. For some, their family circumstances can mean that Father's Day is often a particularly challenging time, and this is a way for us to help them celebrate their families exactly as they are.
Lantern will cover printing and framing costs, to provide each family with a photo to keep.
