On Sunday, June 4, 2017, local residents will lace up their running shoes and pound the pavement towards a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF) at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Great Strides 5K Walk, being held in Barrington.
Responsibilities include:
- Morning set-up 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Unload truck
- Hang signs
- Set out balloons
- Set out breakfast
- Route Set up
- Registration 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Breakfast distribution 9:00 AM -11:00 AM
- Hand out t-shirts 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Be cheerleaders for walkers 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Lunch distribution 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Route clean up 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Help with clean-up 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather. There will be a lot of standing and walking so wear comfortable shoes. A Great Strides t-shirt will be given to you to wear at the walk.
