We have an exciting opportunity here at the Chadds Ford Historical Society where we have recently completed new, climate-controlled storage for our collection items! The downside is we need to move them all upstairs into this room. We need a few able-bodied individuals that can lift 15 pounds or more and be able to go up and down stairs.
This project is ongoing until the end of the month, so if you can only dedicate an hour or two to help, we'll take it!
And, if you're worried about handling collection items, don't worry, you'll only be dealing with boxes!

The mission of the Chadds Ford Historical Society is to preserve the properties, records and artifacts, to interpret the history and to educate the public concerning the way of life in the Chadds Ford area with emphasis on the eighteenth century. The vision of the Chadds Ford Historical Society is to be the finest community historical society, preserving the history and interpreting the life and times of the Chadds Ford area. The Society aspires to be known for providing excellent educational opportunities to visitors, schools and residents, as well as being an active supporter of and a focal point for community activities.
Description
The Chadds Ford Historical Society (CFHS) is a private, non-profit, community-based, volunteer organization that has restored and maintains three pre-Revolutionary buildings which are open to the public as House Museums.
