Take Steps is the largest nationwide walk program dedicated to finding a cure for Crohns and colitis. You can learn more about us and our event at cctakesteps.org/portland2017

We are looking for volunteers to help make this a successful and fun event! The walk will take place on May 20 at the World Trade Center in Downtown Portland. We need assistance on event day in the following areas:

Set Up, Registration, Kids Zone, Photography, Food, Mission Area, Timing, First Aid, Route, Accounting and Tear Down.

They are easy shifts of 2-3 hours and we can work with your schedule. Brings friends and family to make a fun day of it. When you respond please let us know what area you are interested in helping out with! Thank you for support! This event would not be possible without our amazing team of volunteers and we look forward to having you join us!

Description

Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America puts together a number of fundraising events across the country. Take Steps is their largest with over 100 walks in all 50 states. Participants register as individuals or as a team the set fundraising goals and earn incentives along the way. Our walks are celebrations of their efforts to that point, complete with a 2.5 to 3 mile walk, food, entertainment and games.

Over $.80 of every dollar we raise goes directly to the cause. We provide funds for research for new treatments and ultimately a cure, provide education for both patients and providers as well as support for those affected.
