We have several Service Days scheduled at various MetroParks. Help us perform routine maintenance on park trails, landscaping, setting up for spring, and cleaning up for winter.

Dates:

March 11, April 1, April 22, July 15, August 26, September 23, October 28, and November 18.

The mission of MetroParks of Butler County is to provide a superior park system that maximizes the community’s quality of life through conservation, education and recreation.

Description

MetroParks of Butler County was established in 1955 for the purpose of preserving and restoring areas of outstanding natural significance within the county. MetroParks offers active recreational opportunites such as hiking, walking and jogging, fishing, boating, camping in a wide variety of beautiful and convenient settings. There are also opportunites for historical and conservation education, with historical sites and natural areas- 3000+ acres, 10 openly active parks, 18 miles of hiking trails, 22 reservable shelters, a conference center.
