Assist in our adoption center 1 day per week EVERY OTHER WEEK for about 75-90 minutes. We need individuals who can come to the Petsmart store during regular hours to feed/water/clean and spend some time with cats/kittens currently on display in the adoption center. No heavy lifting. It only takes about 75 minutes and is invaluable to our mission. It is a very rewarding experience. This is an on-going bi-weekly assignment. We can work with your schedule, for example if you need to swap a day out or are out of town, etc. We have a private facebook group of our volunteers. On-site training will be arranged. Please include contact number/phone number when applying for this opportunity.

Animal neglect is rampant in the South. We can all play a small part to make it better. This is your opportunity!!

Thank you!

About Azalea City Cat Coalition

Location:

PO BOX 1612, MOBILE, AL 36633, US

Mission Statement

Azalea City Cat Coalition is devoted to ending the homeless cat problem in Mobile and Baldwin counties by providing community outreach and education on the value of Spay and Neuter of community cats. We use Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) for feral cats and have low cost spay/neuter packages through participating vets. Tame cats and kittens that volunteers discover are taken into our adoption program. Once these cats and kittens are fully vetted, they are placed into approved homes. We are a 100% volunteer organization and are always in need of helping hands and donations.

Description

ACCC is a 501c3 charitable organization registered with the IRS. Our all-volunteer staff is devoted to ending the homeless cat problem with a proactive solution to this dilemma. Neighborhood cats should be spay or neutered and care for. Make a difference in your community and help us help them.

Whether for an hour or a week every volunteer can make a difference. Help those who cannot help themselves and let's address the situation of neighborhood cats. Join the growning trend for TNR and spay and stay today!
