Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 10th Annual MPS STEM Fair!
Our students are the future scientists, engineers, mathematicians and technologists who will lead our country into further advancement in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
The STEM Fair aims to showcase students who have worked on STEM projects that use inquiry skills and create innovative solutions to everyday problems.
Each year, MPS hosts the STEM Fair. This year's fair will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Milwaukee County Zoo Peck Welcome Center. Schools are invited to send science inquiry and engineering design projects from students in four-year-old kindergarten through grade 12.
We need your help to make this event a success! Volunteers are needed to assist with various duties at the STEM Fair for the set-up day and the day of the fair. Set-up will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Fair day is Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The awards ceremony will take place from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. on fair day.
Register to volunteer by completing the form below. You will receive an email with more details as we get closer to the STEM Fair. Feel free to share this volunteer opportunity with others in your network who might also want to volunteer!
If you have questions, please contact Maricha Harris, Partnership & Volunteer Associate, at harris14@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.
