This can be done by an individual or a group and must be scheduled ahead of time. This volunteer can either prepare snacks that the families can then take to the hospital or back to the apartment or they can prepare a meal for all the families to eat together in the community space. All meals MUST be prepared on-site. If preparing a meal, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to check in with the staff a couple of days before their scheduled time to confirm number of people/families. Individuals involved with food preparation activity must be comfortable working with people from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.

Description
Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor (RMHBH) provides free furnished housing and community services for pediatric patients who are undergoing treatment at local hospitals. Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor currently has eight apartments in service plus one community space. Ultimately, the goal is to expand our organization to operate eleven units.
