Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - East Liberty is looking for volunteers to help out with a free taxpayer clinic as Greeters. The taxpayer clinic is a way for low-income families to access free tax preparation services right in the local community. This volunteer role requires no specific knowledge or experiences related to taxe s- you’ll just be helping tax payers get signed in and complete their initial paperwork before referring them on to a designated tax preparation volunteer.
Shifts Available from 9:30 - 12:00 or from 11:30 - 3:00 on Friday, March 17. A brief, online training is required before volunteering for this program.
