The Center for Contemporary Art is seeking students 16 and older to volunteer at our Summer Art Camps! Students may volunteer for as many weeks as they wish, however, they must commit to coming for the entire week from 9:15 to 4:45 pm. The duties include helping the instructor hand out art supplies to the students, keeping the room in order, cleaning art brushes and putting away art supplies each day. Volunteers also help students with their projects as needed.

Description
The Center for Contemporary Art is a vibrant regional art center with studio art classes, a summer art camp, rotating exhibitions and community outreach programs.
Art classes for children and adults are offered in painting (oils, acrylic and watercolor), ceramics, pottery, drawing, pastels, photography and more. Exhibitions of contemporary art are presented in three galleries, as well as annual members’, international juried and youth art month exhibits. Outreach programs bring art experiences to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, at-risk youth, seniors, adults with disabilities and people affected by cancer.
The Center is located in a fully-accessible facility in Bedminster, Somerset County in Central NJ with convenient access to routes I-78, I-287, and 202/206.
