About
March of Dimes signature event, "March for Babies," on April 8, 2017, is a celebration for all babies--those born healthy and those born too soon or too sick.
More than 4 million babies were born in the United States last year and the March of Dimes helped each and every one through 79 years of research, education, vaccines, and breakthroughs. Premature birth is the #1 killer of ALL babies and children under the age of 5!
Our participants and supporters are local families, companies and schools who have been inspired by the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing premature births, birth defects and infant mortality.
We are expecting 7,000 participants at the Phoenix March for Babies, and we need YOUR help to make sure that the event is a success!
We need over 200 volunteers to perform many tasks on the day of the event, such as walk route setup, food court assistance, supervising the kid's play zone, hanging banners, and much much more!

Mission Statement
The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. March of Dimes helps moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. And if something goes wrong, we offer information and comfort to families. We research the problems that threaten our babies an work on preventing them.
Description
March of Dimes has fundraising events troughout the year across the state. Our signature event, March for Babies, is held in 8 cities in Arizona.
March of Dimes is a volunteer-driven organization, we cannot accomplish our mission without you! Thank you for your interest in helping us give every baby a healthy start in life!
