The Senior Services office in Round Lake, IL is in need of volunteers for reception and light office work. The receptionist greets visitors and answers the phone, directing clients appropriately. Help with preparing literature for clients as well as reviewing paperwork is also needed. The ideal volunteer would be able to donate 3-5 hours, one day a week. The time is flexible.
The primary goal of Senior Services is to provide comprehensive services so seniors are able to continue to live independently or with caregivers in their own homes, avoiding the need for residential or institutional care for as long as possible.
Based on a foundation of quality of life, self-determination, stand and volunteers of Senior Services are committed to providing services for seniors with competency, compassion, and professionalism.
