The ALS Association Florida Chapter is looking for great and friendly volunteers to help with the range of tasks needed during our Walk to Defeat ALS. More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something we care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow our local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year.
Note: Boar's Head Truck will be present with free food, Dunkin Donuts, water, live music, and more!
Volunteer tasks include:
Unload Van and Setup.
Volunteers will be expected to help unload vans and distribute materials to appropriate places, put tablecloths/skirts on tables , help to hang up banners at sponsor tents.
Walk Route Signage.
Greeters/Traffic/Direction/Information.
Registration - (volunteers over 18).
T-Shirt Table.
Water station.
Shoe Displays.
Feather Flags.
Breakdown - as many volunteers as possible!
