Fresno County Public Library's Afterschool Meal Program is a pilot program that aims to promote healthy minds and healthy bodies by offering a light, nutritious meal in conjunction with afternoon homework help. FCPL will provide free pre-packaged meal alongside educational activities at the Betty Rodriguez Regional Library to keep youth learning, playing, and growing. For the pilot program meals will be served Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons 3:30-4:30pm from February 28 through June 8. Volunteers will are needed 3:30-5:30pm to serve the prepackaged meal / snack to any Fresno youth 1-17, help with activities, and assist elementary and middle school students with homework questions.
