At Hospice Partners, our mission is no one dies alone, afraid or in pain. That is why our 11th hour volunteers are special people. Our 11th hour volunteers serve as anchors for patients and their loved ones at time of death. Volunteers and staff take turns sitting with a patient during the dying process. Specific training is available for volunteers. This is a great volunteer opportunity for student chaplains, pastors, ministers, etc. If you are interested in learning more, give is a call at 816-400-8558 in the KC metro or 816-232-2400 in St. Joseph.
