The PrairieArkansas Literacy Council is looking for several volunteers to help in our Hazen office. We need volunteers to tutor, work in the bookstore, for office duties & paperwork, and help fundraise. There are several other opportunities available.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the council is to serve the needs of adults, families and communities through adult and family literacy, as well as English as a second language. The council is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding sections of any future federal tax code.
Description
The council exists to help adults (age 16 or older) achieve functional levels of reading,writing, and math skills through adult literacy and English as a second language. Also to strengthen individuals, families and communities through adult and family literacy, and English as a second language. All Materials are free, all tutoring is free.
