El Sistema Colorado needs volunteers, including:
- Musicians - If you have musical experience, volunteer to work with students and give them the personal attention they need to develop as young musicians. We are looking for help with lessons in all instruments and voice. We also need individuals to assist at rehearsals and performances.
- Tutoring and Homework Help - El Sistema Colorado is committed to the success of our students in school as well as music. Volunteers are needed help to students with their homework or to work on specific academic challenges.
- Projects - El Sistema Colorado needs volunteers to support on-going and one-time projects, ranging from data entry to preparing instructional materials for the program.
Volunteers are needed at all of our school sites (Garden Place Elementary, Swansea Elementary and Bruce Randolph Middle & High School), or you may be able to contribute by undertaking a project at your home or business location. All volunteers that work directly with students must complete a free background check.

Description
El Sistema Colorado serves youth ages 3-18 by offeringfree string instruments and free music lessons in the setting of an orchestra. All students are welcome to apply but we prioritize enrollment for low-income families.
While the program is free, our students and families have a high level of commitment to be a part of the program. We exist to provide access to high quality music education no matter what.
We are committed to the whole child, cultivating a community of support for the whole family and greater community, which is impacted by our young musicians’ growing self-confidence, social-emotional development and leadership skills.
We are music without barriers!
