In honor of Older Americans Month in May 2017, Volunteer Solutions' Helping Hands program needs volunteer Project Managers. Volunteer Solutions coordinates various home improvement projects throughout the month to assist older adults and adults with disabilities. Assignments vary, and include deep house cleaning, de-cluttering and organizing the home, as well as yard work. Project Managers will be supervising and coordinating groups of volunteers with the aformentioned tasks. Training will be provided.

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.
