Wonder what loads of science supplies look like all in one place?
Do you love to hang out with happy science teachers?
Choose the Depot and find out.
BioLink Depot needs your help to run our Open House. You will help to run the event. Registration table, security, parking, sort, organize and clean our donation center so we can effectively distribute these supplies to schools. Other types of work: Sorting pipette tip boxes, managing the food and refreshment tables, arranging scales, stacking boxes on shelves, placing glassware in cabinets, sweeping, cleaning and more.
We are located just minutes away at the Oakland Coliseum BART on the campus of Habitat ReStore and The ReUse People in the back parking lot. We distribute donations to science teachers for free at our Open Houses events, giving them a second-life in cash-starved classrooms. We make them available to over 300 teachers and 85,000 students in California high schools, community colleges, and universities. Sign-up today. Information is below:

Description
Bio-Link Depot is a unique organization that provides millions of dollars worth of donated laboratory equipment and supplies for free to educators and researchers, to promote scientific training for students at all levels. We have diverted more than 33 tons from landfills in the last year.
The Depot is run mostly by volunteers and has served the educational and academic research community for 19 years. Our efforts have allowed underserved institutions to expand their science education and research programs.
In appreciation of our efforts, Bio-Link Depot was awarded the prestigious Pantheon DiNA award by the California Life Sciences Association for Biotech Educator for 2018. Thank you! With your support, we will continue enabling fostering Science Education by enhancing hands-on STEM learning opportunities.
