ISSION & GOALS
The Nuclear Committee works with other organizations to inform members, supporters, and the general public abuot the dangers of nuclear energy and to campaign to close existing nuclear plants in NYS.
DESCRIPTIONVolunteers could write letters to newspapers, distribute handouts, visit elected officials, etc. Time commitment is up to the volunteer.
This work can be completed from anywhere in the state.

Description
The Atlantic Chapter represents the national Sierra Club and members in New York State. We work to oversee and implement the mission of the Club and members while working on local and state policy affecting the natural environment and resources in the state, as well as the public health and social justice of New Yorkers.
