Position Description

You are the backbone of Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center, Corp. You will help perfect our programs. This position is ideal for candidates that wish to fully pursue a crede ntialed lead teaching position, activism, and other community based programs. Becoming an educational associate serves as an internship for candidates who wish to develop their expertise through observation and experience in preparation for a meaningful and successful teaching career.


Applicants must possess strong communication and administrative skills; an understanding of arts education; the capacity to multi-task and to work independently; along with the ability to problem solve. Ideal candidates must also have a strong knowledge of photography-its history, techniques, and aesthetics. A familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Photoshop are required. Must have excellent customer service skills and thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.


I nterns are also invited to attend private openings and artist talks. Part of programing.
