Hello,
our founding board is getting ready to petition for charter school opening(s) in April. We are planning to join an incubator which requires a time commitment and investment towards tailoring the charter school petition for success.
The member would be available for 5 Saturday meetings before December 9th and some weekly Thursday meetings, be available to interview with incubator team and charter school commission. We are looking for highly dedicated, articulate and motivated board members who are dedicated to helping children. Dedication that is shown through time commitment, strategy, planning, and work.
Target school district(s) is low income elementary school age children. A board member that is comfortable with economic and racial diversity is encouraged to apply. A board member that is passionate about helping children would be fantastic!
