Mission Statement
Mission: The mission of Veterans at Sea is to provide holistic education, crisis intervention and respite for veterans and their families. Purpose: The purpose of Veterans at Sea is to raise awareness and support from the public to assist in the needs of healing of our veterans and their families; to help veterans and their families network and assist each other; to provide direct holistic healing programs, support and services to these families in unique settings and to raise public awareness on the stigma of veteran mental health and veteran suicide. Vision: Veterans at Sea’s vision is to heal the warfighter community through holistic healing, crisis intervention and prevention.
Description
The purpose of Veterans at Sea is to provide a holistic and alternative solution to the mental health issues, addiction and chronic pain that have produced challenging lives for veterans, their spouses/caregivers and their children.Veterans at Sea’s activities are based around healing the veteran in order to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the family.
