The Marketing Coordinator will help PRH fulfill its mission to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and rehome birds, or strengthen the relationship between them and their human companions through the nonprofit’s social media platforms, high traffic website, and other marketing opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity that requires a professional mindset who can successfully manage PRH projects. A high level of professionalism, flexibility, enthusiasm, project management, organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Passion to help shelter animals is a must.
Manage the content of the organization’s website, thinking creatively about the website/facebook content as well as executing weekly and recurring updates. - Coordinate all ecommunication. - Strategize and execute an effective social media plan, focusing primarily on our very active and engaging Facebook page. - Capture photos and videos of organizational happenings for quick sharing with the public. - Manage, create and publish a series of videos about our programs in action using the organization’s video editing software and coordinating outside videographer’s efforts. Write short stories as well as long articles about the organization, specific birds and initiatives for online and print publications. - Support the drafting and distribution of press releases. - Support marketing efforts for the Adoption Program including signature events, third party events and other events. - Act as a representative of the organization at media opportunities. - Support efforts for public marketing partnerships. - Uphold brand standards on all external and internal materials. - Provide steadfast, excellent customer service to the public, volunteers and staff. Help put us on the map for avian rescue for Georgia.
