The Community Learning Enhancement Institute, Inc.(CLEI) is a recently formed 501c3 nonprofit organization in Pensacola, FL is seeking its Executive Board of Directors for the 2017-2018 membership term. The CLEI needs reputable, committed, and dependable professionals who have previous nonprofit leadership experience with expertise in advocacy, legal, finance/accounting, technology, marketing, fundraising, real estate, human resources, etc. Candidates with notable interaction with contacts possessing valuable skill sets and other qualities needed for the CLEI to fully develop and implement its program components will be an asset. Potential candidates should have serious interest in the personal, socioemotional, academic, interest/talent, career, service learning and educational development of children, parents/guardians, families, adults and senior citizens throughout the lifespan.
The CLEI's mission is to provide a proactive atmosphere that promotes human empowerment, development and proactive lifestyles. Program components will feature the following areas: at-risk prevention and intervention programming services, specific learning disabilities, emotional trauma, giftedness and talent development, generational mentoring, afterschool learning and enrichment, community outreach, research studies, and much more. Candidates should have transformational, visionary and servant leadership styles; the fortitude to see a project's vision come to life; great communication and social interaction skills; and a proven track record of successful outcomes.
