Every year, LOGAN Hope school has a Joy in June event, which provides our guests with an opportunity to learn about the school and bid for different packages and opportunities. Our school pays for over 95% of our students' tutition, so we must raise up to at least $7900 per student. By donating, we are able to provide this and more to our students and our Joy in June event is an opportunity for us to receive the donations necessary to do that.
As a volunteer, you would could do one or both of the following activities for this event:
1. Contact various organizations, companies, restaurants, and attractions to try to request a donation from them to our event in Joy in June.
2. Volunteer one the day of the event to help ensure the event goes smoothly.

LOGAN Hope is a Christ-centered K-8 school that provides rigorous, holistic education for underresourced students in the Logan neighborhood of Philadelphia. We seek to transform our community by equipping our students for academic success through character and leadership development.
Description
LOGAN Hope is also intentional about making their ministry accessible to those least able to afford it. For this reason, students' tuition makes up less than 5% of the school's operating budget and there is usually little or no charge to attend their other programs.
