SafeHouse of the Desert is a shelter for youth in crisis ages 11-17 in Thousand Palms. As part of our program, we also have a group home for 14-17 year old girls- at an undisclosed address. We are in need of a nurse to stop by the home once or twice a month to review or medication logs and maybe check in on the girls basic health. We are looking for someone who can commit for a period of time as this will be an ongoing requirement to keep our licensing.

Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
