Volunteer with the Mildred Eual Center

The Mildred Eual Center needs a volunteer computer literacy teachers.

The classes are for seniors and veterans beginning February 21st, Tuesday and February 23rd Thursday from 10am-12pm at the Mildred Eual Center located at 3018 Old Minden Road, Suite 1121 Bossier City, Louisiana.

The classes are every two weeks and require a 4 hour committment every two weeks for 3 months.

The center will provide the computer literacy curriculum for the teachers.

The Volunteer Teachers will instruct seniors and veterans on how to use the internet, create an email account and basic computer skills (creating files, flyers and letters).

Teachers will need to undergoe a background check.

The Mildred Eual Center is a 501c3 Senior Resource Center. Our center focuses on developing positive relationships with seniors, veterans and the community. We create an environment that welcomes everyone from diverse backgrounds and select materials that support and engage conversation about the education, workshops on life skills, elder mistreatment and emphasizes independent Living Skills and caregiver support.
