The goal of the Ain’t I An Actor Too? project is to help children of low economic status foster self-confidence and self-concept of themselves as actors. This program is based on the premise that on stage, we are all actors. Perceived barriers will be eliminated through a series of comprehensive acting training workshops, helping New Haven’s most vulnerable students to achieve their goal of becoming an actor.

We are looking for volunteers to help us find funding for this project before the end of the school year. We want the children to be able to gain the experience needed before graduating so they can transition into a career opportunities.

If you are would like to help and don't know how, one of our board members will be training those interested in writing grants for students to gain opportunities in the arts.
