The Service Dog Project, 37 Boxford RD, Ipswich, MA, is looking for a handy person or two to help with farm chores, fixing doggie doors, fences, using a tractor, loading and unloading deliveries, etc... Rain, snow, heat, we work outdoors in all weather and will need shoveling/tractor help during storms. Must be able to lift heavy loads and work most times without supervision. Must be a team player. A love for xl dogs is helpful too. SDP is a 12 acre farm, with seasonal clean ups, short-long term projects, daily tasks and chores, and we are home to great danes, donkeys, chickens/hens. We breed, raise and train our Danes to be Service Dogs for the Mobility Disabled so this is a feel good, do good job. Plan your visit to the farm Sundays though Tuesdays. Email to schedule. A Driver's License is required. Thank you!
