World Outreach Foundation Kansas City is a 501c3 dedicated to providing medical, and specifically for this opportunity, dental care to the homeless in our city. We have been operting a free clinic for our homeless patients since September 2013 and we can NEVER find enough dentists and dental professionals to get anywhere close to meeting the demand.
As you will imagine, dental care is non-existent for the homeless and our clinic provides care and tretment including treatment of infection, fillings, extractions and dentures for those in need. The Foundation pays for treatment. At 705 Virginia Ave, KC we have a dental room with two chairs and two stations as well as a digital xray capability. We are also opening a new clinic, again with 2 chairs and fully portable stations at 3000 Travey Ave.
We are in desperate need of dentists to volunteer! Most of our existing DDS volunteers provide care one morning a month and this really helps, but there is plenty more to do! If you would be interested, or would like to talk about this some more, please get in touch! Many thanks.

WOFKC provides overseas medical missions to developing countries primarily the Philippines. Since 2013 we have operated a free clinic for the homeless in Kansas City - primary care for those without insurance or access to medical care. The homeless clinic is our primary volunteer need. Founded in 2004.
