ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association - Arkansas Chapter

  • 1 person is interested

Begun in 2012, The Longest Day is the 2nd signature fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association, after the highly successful Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Longest Day is all about love - love for all those affected by Alzheimer's. On (or around) the summer solstice, thousands of people will team up with Alzheimer's Association to do something they love to raise funds and awareness for those affected by Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer’s Association, Arkansas Chapter is currently forming a Volunteer Committee for The Longest Day 2017! Tasks will include assisting with recruiting and cultivating TLD teams, brainstorming with staff on ways to take TLD 2017 to the next level, and spreading the word about the TLD initiative as well as the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association. Monthly meetings will be held, primarily by conference call.
