Designer Dog Rescue is looking for a few great people to foster dogs or puppies. We are a small foster based and 100% volunteer run non-profit organization located in the San Fernando Valley. All of our animals are health checked, current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered (age appropriate) , micro chipped, and beahviorally assesed prior to being placed with a foster.
We are very flexible and can help you find a dog thta fits your lifestyle. Foster commitments vary; Weekend/emergency fosters, Temp fosters (up to 3 weeks), Basic Fosters (up to 3 months), and long term/ hospicee foster.
While you are fostering with our organization, we cover all medical care for the pet, will drop off supplies as needed such as food, toys, beds, blankets, potty pads, crates and ex-pens etc.
We have a wonderful relationship woth our fosters, hold monthly foster orientations and provide 24 hour support for questions and concerns.

Designer Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-breed, no-kill dog rescue organization. We rescue dogs from shelters at risk of being euthanized and focus on educating the public about "designer breeds", otherwise known as the "MUTT". We also help many owners who are forced to surrender their dogs due to financial or personal reasons. Designer Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and every day. Our primary goal is to rescue and rehabilitate these dogs in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes.

We also focus on educating the public by providing information on rescue procedures, the canine species, and specific breeds. Designer Dog Rescue is a 100% non-profit volunteer organization that would not survive without the loving dedication and support of volunteers, foster families, and benefactors. Our sincerest thank you to each of our generous and dedicated supporters.
We do not have a physical/ kennel location and are 100% foster based.
