CASA Community Thrift Shop is seeking two knowledgeable volunteers to test donated electronics to make sure that they are working properly. This includes: trouble-shooting issues that arise regarding electronics, cleaning the items, replacing batteries and doing anything else necessary to ensure that each produce is being properly tested to be sold on the floor.

Each volunteer will serve on separate days, with a flexible schedule - volunteer any day M-Saturday, with a 2-3 hour shift. Set your own schedule!

CASA Community Thrift Shop supports the programs and services offered to the survivors of domestic violence living in St. Petersburg, FL. With 100% of the proceeds made int he Thrift Shoppe coming right back into CASA's programs and services, this program is vital to ensuring the longevity of our programming.

Description

CASA operates the area’s 24-hour crisis hotline and 100-bed emergency shelter, offers community support groups, provides courtroom advocacy, assists the Child Protective Investigative team and conducts community and corporate training.

In addition, CASA's Peacemakers Program teaches anti-bullying and healthy relationship curriculum throughout the Pinellas County school system to end the generational cycle of violence.
