Provide much-needed food assistance to local older adults through Nourish Now’s Food Distribution Program. This program provides an individual or family a five day supply of food each month. Volunteers pick up food from the Nourish Now facility in Rockville, MD once a month and deliver the food items to one or more families.
Pickup is at Nourish Now Headquarters (1111 Taft Street in Rockville) and delivery is in Montgomery County.
Nourish Now is open for pick up Monday - Friday between 11 - 3.
This is a great opportunity if you only have a little time to give: Only once a month commitment for a maximum of 1.5-2 hours.

For more than 120 years, the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) has been helping individuals and families across the Washington metro area meet emotional, social, and physical challenges. JSSA provides services and support to more than 30,000 individuals and families annually through a wide range of counseling, education, specialized employment services, in-home care, hospice, senior care-management, and social services.
