The Wellspring Center for Prevention is a non-profit, community-based health organization providing prevention, education, information, and referral services to county residents, businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, municipal alliances, and social service agencies since 1980. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities through the prevention of addiction-related problems across the lifespan.

Wellspring is seeking volunteers who are willing to step in and are interested in helping us to raise funds, find investors and sponsorships. Our agency offers a multitude of programs the span the lifespan and are currently being implemented in schools (all grades), community centers, parent groups, and senior centers, among others. In addition to our programming efforts, Wellspring implements a variety of community events that require outside funding for support.

The volunteer(s) we seek will assist outreach efforts to corporations, companies, institutions and others in the hope of securing an on-going funding streams for these efforts. The volunteer(s) will also assist in planning/setting up for events, registration, phone calls, small presentations, and spending time with attendees at planned events/programming.

A prospective candidate should have high energy, a passion for advocating for child survivors, and a creative spirit. Must be resourceful and able to work independently as well as on a team.

Duties Include:

• Social media networking
• Collaborating with local businesses via email or phone
• Creating attractive eye-catching flyer to advertise fundraising event
• Marketing event to community through all available marketing avenues, and social media
