Great Strides Rochester provides a great opportunity for people within the community to get involved in a great cause. Participants can form walk teams at their workplace, through their clubs and organizations, or with friends and family.
Walk day is a fun, family-oriented event with a beautiful 5K walk, children's activities, food, and festivities that participants look forward to year after year.
We need volunteers to help with the following tasks:
- Set-up the walk site
- Stake the route
- Hand out breakfast/lunch items
- Help with registration
- Help serve lunch
- Help with tear down
- Event photography
- Walk warm-ups and cool-downs (Zumba, Yoga, etc.)
- Cheerleading
- First Aid/EMT

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the leading organization in the United States devoted to cystic fibrosis. It funds and accredits more than 115 CF care centers, 95 adult care programs and 50 affiliate programs, and more than 75 chapters and branch offices nationwide.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most efficient organizations of its kind.
