As the temperature warms up and the days get longer, why not spend some of your extra time volunteering?
The Aberdeen ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store that raises money to build affordable and safe homes for low income families in Cecil and Harford counties. The Aberdeen ReStore has a lot of volunteer opportunities ranging from customer service to donation processing. Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday-Saturday 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm. Also, Tuesdays 10am to 2pm or 12pm to 4pm. Volunteers can do a 2hr or 4hr shift. The Aberdeen ReStore prides itself on providing volunteers with a fun and purposeful experience.

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, Inc. (HHS) is an ecumenical Christian housing organization devoted to building and repairing homes in partnership with qualifying families. HHS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit supported by government, community and private funding.
HHS's vision is to eliminate substandard housing in Cecil County and Harford County, Maryland through action and advocacy.
