Global Orphan Prevention is seeking an events coordinator and party planner for a "birthing kit assembly day."
This event will bring together volunteers from all over Denver to assembly life-saving birthing kits that will be delivered to birthing centers all over Nepal!
The birthing kit addresses the 7 cleans needed for a safe delivery. The kits are basic with 6 items. A plastic sheet, soap, 2 gloves, sterile scalpel blade, 3 cords and 5 gauze squares. These items are assembled into a small bag at the Assembly Day.
Events Coordinator will:
- Help organize and promote the assembly day
- Find an event sponsor
- Help gather supplies from local hospitals

We help young women in both Nepal and Colorado.
- In Nepal, our INpowerment Center & Dormitory in Ghyangphedi houses 40 full time residents, age 10-17, and is located in the #1 child trafficking district of the country. We provide them equal access to education, as well as self-development and real-life business skills.
- In Colorado, our retreats and school programs help teen women find their internal wisdom, and source their power from within.
