The Kentucky Horse Park hosts 2 live shows throughout the day during the season (March-October). The Breeds Barn hosts over 40 different breeds of horses and has two live shows each day. The Hall of Champions houses 8 retired race horses from around the US, including Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds and Quarter Horses. Both of these shows require an announcer to read the scripts of each horses history, discipline and achievements. All scripts are provided. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers that are willing to become part of the team!

The purpose of the Kentucky Horse Park is to provide a quality informational, recreational and educational experience, with the horse as its theme, for Kentuckians and visitors from throughout the world.

As the only Park in the world dedicated to the horse, we offer visitors a chance to see a variety of breeds of horses in their daily routines, against a background of an immaculately kept Kentucky Horse Farm.The Kentucky Horse Park was formed in 1978 and the Volunteer program initiated in 2000.
