We are looking for an individual with some dog experience to help out in our vet clinic during the week. Our Vet Tech will provide training for simple tasks - cleaning clinic, pulling up vaccines, pulling and reading fecals, getting supplies together, and bringing dogs to their designated area. This is great experience for anyone looking to get into this field. You must commit to at least 1-2 days a week so that you can get the proper training and we can schedule our week accordingly.

Description
Acadiana Animal Aid was founded in 1974 and is chartered as a 501(c)3 non-profit humane society. We are funded by donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees; and are governed by a duly elected Board of Directors. AAA is a cat and dog rescue and adoption organization, located in Carencro, LA.
On any given day we care for more than 100 dogs and 120 cats at our shelter, and up to 50 more animals in our network of foster families. Our animals come to us as strays, owner surrenders, rescues from negligent situations, and/or euthanizing shelters.
