Eye Exam

The Skyline Eye Clinic is in need of assistance in helping connect patrons to free eye exams. The appointment scheduler position involves taking calls throughout the morning and making appointments for eye exams which will take place either on-site or at various outside optometry offices. It involves communicating with patrons and sometimes doctor's offices over the phone and working to find the best available times/dates/locations for people in need of prescriptions who otherwise would not be able to afford the visit.

Training will be provided and all information necessary to complete this task is available in the eye clinic office. Because Skyline's Eye Clinic is a one-of-the-kind program, volunteers experience something truly rewarding and rare. This position plays an essential role in distributing low-cost glasses to people so that they are able to feel empowered in their lives and get a step up in the struggle with poverty.

Shifts are available Monday-Thursday from 9am-12pm every morning.
