During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
To help increase youth exposure to STEM Learning, and help provide additional opportunities for youth that are learning from home (via virtual learning or homeschooled), we are putting on a monthly STEM class for kids and looking for volunteers who are willing to help lead these monthly classes. Materials and activities will be provided- but we are also open to activities that fit your STEAM background.
This would be from Noon - 2 pm on the second Friday of each month
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Using experiential activities and interaction with STEM professionals, the goal of the STEM Scouts program is to help young people grow in character and skills as they explore their curiosity about STEM fields. It is hoped that their growing knowledge will translate into the STEM-related careers that are so crucial to our country’s future economy. While the program focuses on future careers in STEM, it is ultimately designed to be challenging, thought-provoking and, most importantly, fun.
Science, technology, engineering, and math aren't just for the classroom anymore. STEM Scouts brings girls and boys together to shape, tinker, explore, and make. From robots to chemical reactions and circuits to insects, STEM Scouts gives kids the opportunity to dive into a breadth of STEM topics while meeting STEM professionals and learning to both work together and lead. The Crossroads of America Council, serving 26 counties across Central Indiana is proud to be apart of this pilot program from the Boy Scouts of America.
We are always looking for STEM professionals and people who just love working with kids to support all aspects of the program and excite more of our youth about STEM!
We'll work with your schedule.
