Are you a natural networker? Well connected in the community and don't mind sharing a great cause with others? Then we need you! We are currently seeking a Chair for our New Team Recruitment Subcommittee (and subcommittee members) for our 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's Portland planning committee!
The Walk Team Recruitment Chair and subcommittee will be responsible for recruitment of new Walk teams by organizing a new Team Kick-Off and hosting a table and filling it with 9 other prospective Team Captains. The Walk Team Recruitment Chair will assemble and work with a committee that can recruit new Walk teams from all sectors of the community and coach the new teams to fundraise through calls with team captains and in person meetings. The committee should be organized so that each committee member is responsible for hosting 3 tables, or hosting one of their own, and finding 2 more table hosts to fill the others and coming up with prospects to invite to the New Team Kickoff event, which is held two-three months prior to the Walk date of September 10th, 2017. New teams can be friends and family teams, small business teams, corporate teams, or organization teams!
Previous board or committee experience is encouraged but not required. We would love to have you as the 2017 Chair or on this subcommittee!
